Continuous toilet-cleaners without bleach/bromine

I always liked the concept of 2000-Flushes-style toilet tablets to support my shockingly lazy nature. I'm actually so lazy that I may not even finish this sentenc

However, the commonly-stocked products from Clorox, 2000 Flushes, Kaboom, and NeverScrub are the type that use chlorine or bromine, creating fumes I'd prefer to avoid. In addition, they can be damaging to the parts inside the toilet tank. Fortunately, I found that there are several products that use other methods for cleaning. Fluidmaster's product looks like the best option for me:

Fluidmaster Flush 'n Sparkle Blue
Notes:
  • Cleanser/surfactant-based.
  • Resembles those squids from Super Mario games if you add eyes to it. Which I consider an important feature.
  • Takes a separate path from the tank (won't degrade toilet tank parts), and avoids excess "dosage" when the toilet isn't flushed frequently.
  • Refills are more expensive than some of the drop-in tablets, but not overly-costly. Also has septic-system-safe (and standard bleach) refill options.
  • Blue water dye.
