Halibut liver oil supplements with the fewest additives

Halibut liver oil is an excellent source of oil-based vitamin A, and a good source of vitamin D. However, many brands "fortify" their halibut oil supplements to achieve their target dosages. If you'd like to avoid that, my recommendations are:

Recommended for a low-additive, affordable halibut-liver oil:

Vitabase Natural Vitamin A
Available on Vitabase
Positives:
  • achieves vitamin A dosage purely from halibut liver oil
  • affordable, roughly $0.03 per 10,000IU of vitamin A (when using the "buy 3, get 1 free" offer).
Negatives:
(none)
All ingredients:

Vitamin A (from halibut liver oil), soybean oil, softgel capsule (gelatin, glycerin, water).

25,000IU of Vitamin A per softgel.
