Creatine brand summary
There's enough good creatine testing information from LabDoor and ConsumerLab (membership required) that I can be lazy with this page and just summarize everything into two quick suggestions:
If shopping online
I'd personally just get BulkSupplements' monohydrate. They did well in both sets of tests, and I've been happy with the supply I ordered about a year ago.
- Powder: available direct and on Amazon.
- Gelatin capsules: available direct and on Amazon.
- Veggie capsules: available direct and on Amazon. The capsule shells are probably hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, so I'd lean towards the gelatin option.
If shopping locally
If you're shopping locally, I think Now Sports brand is the most commonly available brand that tested well on LabDoor. Unfortunately it wasn't included in ConsumerLab's results.
